This grant will allow GWU and the Alliance for Ethical International Recruitment to update the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Ethical Recruitment of Foreign Educated Health Professionals with new standards and to expand certification of companies under the Code. The Alliance will also develop its education and outreach programs using social media, so that when the high volume of health worker recruitment returns, nurses and other professionals are more prepared than they were in previous periods of heavy recruitment. Finally, the Alliance will help implement the newly created Voluntary Code of Conduct for Ethical Recruitment of Foreign Educated Teachers, which will particularly address recruitment of teachers in the math and sciences.
