To support a land capability study covering the entire land surface of Costa Rica (over two years).

To develop La Amistad International Park and Biosphere Reserve (over two years).

To support programs for the conservation of natural resources in Costa Rica (over three years).

To design, promote, and execute conservation programs that respond to Costa Rica's changing wildlands situation and to develop a national conservation strategy for Costa Rica (over three years).

To support the media campaign "So the Ark Doesn't Sink," to raise awareness in Costa Rica about the environmental problems affecting the country: deforestation, contamination, ignorance of the system of protected areas, and biological diversity in general.
