Friends of the Earth (FOE) will work to strengthen civil society in countries experiencing significant negative environmental and social impacts from Chinese overseas investments. Under the grant, FOE will convene an international "skills share" meeting, replicating a 2007 event that brought together 50 participants from around the world. The event will allow the exchange of lessons learned, and explore areas of collaboration across this emerging civil society network.
