Frank Lloyd Wright Trust

The mission of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust (Trust) is to engage, educate, and inspire the public through interpretation of Frank Lloyd Wright’s design legacy and to preserve his original sites for future generations. Activities take place at five Wright sites in the Chicago area, including architectural tours, lectures and panel discussions, school outreach, and youth and family programs. This award supports the Trust’s general operations.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust promotes, preserves, and educates the public about Chicago’s most famous and influential architect. The Trust was formed in 1974 to acquire and preserve Wright’s Home and Studio in Oak Park. The Trust now creates exhibitions, conducts ongoing historic preservation, and operates public tours, programs, and events at five major Wright sites including his Home and Studio in Oak Park and the Frederick C. Robie House in Chicago’s Hyde Park. This grant will support the Trust’s general operations and assist it in strengthening its sites and programs, arts education, and community partnerships.
