Faith Acres Foundation

Faith Acres works to meet the basic needs of people struggling financially by distributing free food, emergency clothing, and household items through eight Sharing Center pantries located in McHenry County and Lake County, Illinois. Each Sharing Center is a welcoming place offering love, encouragement, and hope to all people, regardless of where they live or what their backgrounds, races, genders, or religions may be. Faith Acres, a partner agency of the Northern Illinois Food Bank and Feeding America, transports over 650,000 pounds of food per year. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the food distribution service staff and volunteers are designated as front-line workers and the number of individuals served has more than doubled.
