Electronic Privacy Information Center

The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) is non-partisan research organization established in 1994 to focus public attention on emerging privacy and civil liberties issues. It pursues a wide range of activities, including policy research, public education, and publishing, and maintains two of the most popular web sites in the world concerning privacy - epic.org and privacy.org. This grant will support "A Plan for Action: Visions of Privacy in the Modern Age," a project that will explore the forward-looking legal, economic, and policy approaches to privacy that seem most promising or worthy of further development.
