Elastic Arts Foundation

Elastic Arts is a performance venue and gallery in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. The organization presents concerts in jazz, experimental, electronic, hip-hop, contemporary classical, Latin, and world music. It also hosts literary readings, film screenings, visual art exhibitions, and offers citywide performances through its mobile music stage program called Culture Coach. With this award, Elastic Arts convenes a virtual reunion event to mark the one-year anniversary of its improvised music exchange between Mexico City and Chicago.
