The Ditchley Foundation (Ditchley) brings people together to forward peace, freedom and order in the world. Founded in 1958, Ditchley uses the power of convening to create space and time for deep reflection, sharing ideas and making new connections across divides at a time when our systems find this difficult and challenges are interconnected. The impact of these carefully curated convenings are evident in the new ideas and new networks that result from bringing diverse individuals together.
Founded in 1958, the Ditchley Foundation convenes diverse thought leaders from around the world in an inspiring setting to make new connections and spark new ideas and relevant action related to peace, freedom, and order. This grant supports the Ditchley Foundation, in collaboration with the MacArthur Foundation, to host a renowned group of international thought leaders to discuss the news and information landscape, the challenges presented by artificial intelligence (AI) with relation to mis-and dis-information, and possible solutions that strengthen our local new ecosystem and democracies across the world.
