$500,000

Digital Green is an international nonprofit development organization that empowers smallholder farmers to lift themselves out of poverty by harnessing the collective power of technology and grassroots-level partnerships. Digital Green intends to advance livelihoods, resilience, and self-determination in particularly vulnerable tribal communities through capacity building for women farmer producer organizations to improve their bargaining power with buyers, and thereby hasten their economic recovery in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This grant provides support for the Advancing Tribal Livelihoods and Self Reliance (ATLAS) project, specifically for work with Adivasi (Indigenous) women farmers.
