DePaul College Prep, located on the north side of Chicago, offers a challenging Catholic college prep education for young men and women that is grounded in the principles of Connected Learning. In 2012, DePaul University formed an academic partnership with the school, with the goal of reinvigorating the educational environment. This grant further enables DePaul College Prep to develop curriculum and create relevant learning experiences that connect youth and their peers with their interests and the skills they need to become productive, engaged citizens.
Gordon Tech College Prep, a Catholic college preparatory school, formed an academic partnership with DePaul University in 2012 with the goal of reinvigorating the educational environment at the school. With DePaul’s resources and assistance, Gordon Tech will offer a challenging Catholic college prep education for young men and women that incorporates the principles of Connected Learning into the curriculum at Gordon Tech. This grant will be used to hire a Director of Connected Learning, who will work with school leadership and faculty to provide products and practices based on Connected Learning.
