Dasra

Dasra is a strategic philanthropic organization that strengthens civil society organizations, catalyzes strategic philanthropic investments and enables governments to serve communities better. Since 1999, Dasra has collaborated with and supported several nonprofit organizations to ensure that India achieves the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The ClimateRISE Alliance, anchored by Dasra, is a collaborative platform that aims to accelerate India's journey toward equitable climate action and build resilience for vulnerable communities. This award enables Dasra to expand the ClimateRISE alliance to collaborate with over 50 nonprofits, intermediary funding organizations, and philanthropic foundations.
