The Council of Juvenile Corrections Administrators is a professional association of youth correctional administrators dedicated to strengthening leadership and improving conditions and services for youth in custody. The Council will use this grant to establish a resource network linking state corrections agencies with Models for Change tools, resources and information that will help them adopt evidence-based, youth-focused and rehabilitative policies and practices.
To provide training and technical assistance to state and local juvenile justice agencies on rehabilitation and treatment in the Models for Change states (over three years).
In support of state and local efforts to improve mental health treatment and services to youth in contact with the juvenile justice system as part of the Models for Change initiative in Pennsylvania (over three years).
In support of general operations and activities in the Models for Change sites (over three years).
In support of project management in three pilot counties in Pennsylvania to deliver mental health services to youth involved in the juvenile justice system (over three years).
In support of organizational development activities and of work for juvenile justice reform in the Foundation’s targeted sites (over three years).
