Since 2016, the Conservative Energy Network (the Network), has worked with state organizations and leaders to improve policymaker knowledge about a range of energy-related issues, such as the condition of the country’s electrical grid, fuel mix trade-offs, and technological trends affecting utilities. Operational in 21 states, the Network provides state-based analysis about employment, shares polling data on energy topics, and helps convene stakeholders from across the Conservative movement to discuss state-level energy issues. The Network also serves as a conduit between state-based and federally-focused organizations from across the political spectrum related to energy policy. The award supports general operations.
