For technical assistance to local schools in the South Shore community through the community-based Leadership for Educational Innovation Program (over two years).

To develop a reliable model for parent involvement in school restructuring through efforts at nine area schools.

To work with parents, teachers, principals, and community representatives to build a concentrated base of support for school restructuring in eight Chicago public schools.

To support organizing and implementing training programs to improve area public schools.
