Civic Action Foundation

This three-year grant of $300,000 awarded to Civic Action Foundation, a human rights organization based in Perm, Russia, established in 2009 on the initiative of Perm Civic Chamber to implement collaborative projects by regional rights groups, is in support of a project to advance access to justice in Perm and Kirov regions. The project has a special focus on the right of association, and will strengthen civil society groups through provision of legal support and training. Foundation dollars will be used primarily for staff salaries and training seminars. The grant advances Foundation strategy for Russia by enhancing access to justice.
