Citiscope Global News

Citiscope Global News is a media organization that has been covering international urban development issues since 2014. Citiscope is curating and editing stories produced by a global network of journalists on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the New Urban Agenda being led by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and the events organized by governments and civil society as the international community prepares to convene in Quito, Ecuador in October 2016. Citiscope is also leading "urban journalist academies" that will help train journalists to deepen their coverage of urban issues and translate the New Urban Agenda aims for a broader audience. The resulting coverage, training, and events should build awareness about this important diplomatic process that will set new development targets for cities around the world.
