Circle of Blue

Circle of Blue, founded in 2018, works to inform the world’s most important decisions about the competition between water, food, and energy in a changing climate. It uses journalism, collaborative science, innovative communications, and convenings as it works across the Great Lakes, United States, China, Australia, Mexico, India, and the Middle East. The organization's investigative journalism is often coupled with high profile events, such as the World Economic Forum, to bring attention to policymakers and the public alike. Key areas of of work for the next year are expected to include stories related to the relationship between climate, water, and migration. This award supports all aspects of the organization's strategy.
