The Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW) increases resources and opportunities for women and girls through grantmaking, leadership development, and public and grantee education. It serves as a central coordinating entity for individuals and institutions working to achieve gender equity in the Chicago area. CFW’s Women’s Leadership Development Initiative (WLDI) builds the leadership capacity of women who lead community-based organizations. This award supports the Willie’s Warriors Leadership Initiative at CFW, a part of its WLDI.
