$225,000

The Chicago Cultural Alliance's (CCA) mission is to connect, promote, and support centers of cultural heritage for a more inclusive Chicago. CCA is an active consortium of over 40 Chicago-area cultural heritage museums, centers, and historical societies that span 30 neighborhoods and nine suburbs in the Chicago area and represent over 30 different cultures worldwide. CCA pursues the goal of Chicago being a city where all communities have a voice and where cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration are integral to the civic fabric. To achieve its mission, CCA works closely with member organizations, the City of Chicago, and local communities to curate programming that promotes diverse cultures throughout the city. CCA programs include cultural celebrations, public collaborative projects, and capacity-building support for member organizations. This award provides general operating support to CCA as part of the Foundation's Culture, Equity, and the Arts program.
