The previous award to BBC strengthened citizens’ voices in the fight against corruption and promoting accountability. With this award, BBC continues its series of radio townhall conversations, A Fada a Cika (“Words and Actions”), on corruption and accountability issues. BBC builds the capacity of journalists in investigative journalism, promotes newsroom diversity, and hosts a mentoring program for journalists with disabilities.
