Black Business Community Development Corporation

The Black Business Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit subsidiary of the Black Business Investment Fund of Florida, is incubating and serving as the fiscal agent for the African American Alliance of community development financial institution CEOs. The Alliance convenes an institutionally diverse community of CEOs of color and their allies who are working to transform Black economies across the United States by sharing deals, knowledge, capital strategies, etc.; developing essential infrastructure; and fostering diversity, equity and inclusion practices. This award will provide the necessary resources for a robust strategic plan, thus enabling a 2021 launch. The Alliance has already developed a strong membership base whose institutions bring effective track records and who represent significant capital under management, positioning the organization to play an important leadership role in delivering capital to communities of color, and in driving a more inclusive economic recovery.
