Arts of Life, Inc

Opened in 2000 in Chicago’s West Town, Arts of Life is the first, and still the only, State-licensed Community Day Service (CDS) provider in Illinois that focuses on artistic vocational opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Arts of Life advances the creative arts community by providing 65 artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities a collective space to build their practice and strengthen their leadership. This award provides general operating support to Arts of Life in the Culture, Equity, and the Arts area of the Chicago Commitment strategy.
