Angels Films LLC is producing the documentary film Angels are Made of Light. Angels are Made of Light chronicles the struggles and inner lives of teachers and students at a public school in Kabul, Afghanistan, during the closing years of America’s longest war. Many U.S. audiences have very limited knowledge of life in Afghanistan, other than as a war-torn country plagued by violence and instability. The intended outcome of this grant is a feature documentary film that provides American and international audiences with a nuanced view of the daily life of youth and educators in Afghanistan as they work towards a better future.
