Acumen Fund

Acumen's mission is to combat poverty in developing countries by raising and deploying lowwreturn investment capital and charitable donations in early-stage social enterprises that provide reliable and affordable access to critical goods and services to low-income customers. Over the past 13 years, Acumen has invested nearly $90 million in over 80 companies. In this project, Acumen uses its own portfolio to develop and demonstrate an innovative financial product that can bridge the timing gap between the early-exit needs of impact investors and the long-term capital horizons required by social enterprises that target underserved communities.
