Accountability Lab Nigeria

Accountability Lab’s vision is a world in which resources are used wisely, decisions benefit everyone fairly, and people live secure lives. Its mission is to make governance work for people by supporting active citizens, responsible leaders, and accountable institutions. A registered Nigerian nonprofit organization, Accountability Lab Nigeria was set up in 2017 and is part of a global community of Accountability Labs across eight countries. With this award, Accountability Lab Nigeria implements campaigns, trainings, and other activities for community members aimed at changing norms and making Nigeria more accountable to its citizens. It also equips government reformers to effect change from within. The award is expected to promote accountability and integrity by shifting norms and behaviors.
