The Truth About Trees is a three-part series for PBS about one of the earth’s most magnificent and essential lifeforms – the trees. The series will explore the fascinating natural history of trees, the deep relationship of humans and trees, and the crucial role trees play in the planetary biosphere. Often taken for granted, this fascinating and beautiful lifeform holds many of the keys to mitigating the earth’s climate crisis, but can the trees themselves survive? The story is told not only by brilliant scientists, but by tree enthusiasts from every walk of life. Everyone has a tree story to tell.
