Map Your World is a multiplatform, participatory documentary project that enables young people to map, track, and advocate for accountability and action on the challenges facing their communities – and share their stories of change around the world. Inspired by the visionary social entrepreneur Amlan Ganguly (profiled in the 2011 documentary The Revolutionary Optimists) who works with youth in Kolkata on polio, water, and other public health challenges, Map Your World creates a dynamic, globally accessible technology and storytelling platform so young people anywhere can connect, track the issues that matter to them and effect positive change in their own communities.
