Digital Media & Learning
MacArthur is exploring how digital media are changing the way young people learn, play, socialize, and participate in civic life. Grantmaking supports “connected learning,” a new way to make learning more robust and relevant, helping education and other social institutions reimagine how they think about learning to meet the needs of this and future generations.

Juvenile Justice
MacArthur supports juvenile justice reform in 32 states primarily through its Models for Change initiative, which aims to accelerate a national juvenile justice reform movement to improve the lives of young people in trouble with the law, while enhancing public safety and holding young offenders accountable for their actions.
