As a member of People and Culture, Victoria is responsible for the Foundation’s commitment to maintaining a suitable flow of well-qualified, diverse candidates, continuously enhancing our candidate selection process. As an integral part of her work, Victoria builds trusting partnerships with hiring managers by providing a high-quality service through learning their function, developing sourcing strategies, collaborating, being a thought partner, and providing recruitment related subject matter expertise. Victoria attends internal and external Foundation events to aide in the telling of the Foundation’s story and impact.
Victoria facilitates the full life cycle recruitment process for positions at the Manager level and below, including summer interns, through posting, sourcing, screening qualifying candidates, coordinating and managing interviews, maintaining consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers, and providing relevant reporting on all searches (open/filled positions, demographics, etc.).
Victoria formerly served as a Recruitment Manager at CCS Fundraising, where she led the development and implementation of a heightened regional recruitment strategy, including a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previously, Victoria served as Resident Director at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she managed all aspects of the selection process for over 200 student roles within her department.
Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Psychology and in Communication and Media Studies, complemented by a minor in Women and Gender Studies from DePaul University. Victoria received a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Education Counseling & Higher Education from Texas Tech University.
Victoria serves on the Associate Board for the Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana Council of Girl Scouts.
