Nancy Anderson-Weber

Nancy is responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan to engage key networks and partners that advance the Foundation’s mission. She collaborates with various stakeholders within the philanthropic, public, and private sectors to explore large scale collaborative opportunities, prospective leveraging of resources, and approaches to influence our grantmaking strategies.

Nancy joined MacArthur with over a decade of experience in the philanthropy sector. Most recently, she served as the Senior Philanthropy Advisor with JH Philanthropy, where she worked with multi-generational family foundations to gain mission and vision alignment, develop models of governance, and create giving vehicles to achieve their impact goals. Prior to JH Philanthropy, Nancy was Senior Partnerships Manager at Maverick Collective by PSI. As leader of the partnerships team, she advised philanthropists on strategic grantmaking and helped mobilize over $100 million in funding for women and girls. Nancy has also worked with national nonprofits like the American Red Cross, advising individuals, foundations, and Fortune 500 companies to give boldly, creating global social responsibility initiatives and effective giving strategies that influenced systems for good.

Nancy received a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
