Karen joined the Digital Media and Learning team at the Foundation in 2010 and transitioned to the Chicago Commitment team in 2016 serving as Team Administrator.
She has a background in theater and dance and spent the first 15 years of her career as a professional actor, director, and acting coach in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Illinois State University and serves on the Board of Directors of Rivendell Theatre Ensemble.
