As the Foundation’s first full-time Applied Data Scientist, Frances assists departments and teams as they seek to use information for decision-making, learning, strategy development, and change management.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Frances was at P33 Chicago as an Applied Data Fellow, offered through the International Innovation Corps at the University of Chicago. Previously, Frances has held positions at the University of Chicago and the Newberry Library. In her career, she has had a particular focus on nonprofit organizational metrics, benchmarking, analytics, development, growth, and fundraising.
Frances has a Master of Science in Analytics from the University of Chicago, a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management, and an AB in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago.
