Claudia Munoz

Claudia serves as the Legal Project Administrator, for Grants and Impact Investments, primarily assisting the department’s lawyers with the Climate Solutions, On Nigeria, and Nuclear Challenges Big Bets, facilitating, monitoring, and tracking the preparation of legal documents in connection with grants and impact investments.

Claudia has worked in the legal profession for over 30 years, primarily in corporate finance, financial institutions, private equity investment and management, and mergers and acquisitions. She assisted partners and associates with asset purchase transactions, secured and unsecured financings, fund formation, corporate maintenance, and closing and post-closing documentation. She also has experience in private client trusts and estates,  managing several trust accounts and assisting in the distribution of tax returns for clients including fiduciaries, individuals, estates, and private foundations.

Claudia has an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University Illinois.

Claudia is an Illinois Notary Public, Member of the Hispanic/Latino/a/x Affinity Group and the Parent/Caregiver Affinity Group at the MacArthur Foundation, and a member of Chicago Latinos in Philanthropy and Hispanics in Philanthropy.
